Adelaide tram commuters have been forced onto buses because weekend work on the South Road overpass is not finished. Workers have been replacing the temporary track on the overpass and installing new overhead wiring.

Trains halted after cyclist accident

A MAN was lucky to escape serious injury when a train hit the rear wheel of his bike at Salisbury Interchange. The man suffered minor injuries, including abrasions to his arms, chest and back in the near-miss, which happened just before 6.30pm.

Original story MANY southern rail commuters are running late for work today because a train has broken down and blocked the Noarlunga line. The train has come to a halt near Lonsdale and passengers are being taken by another train back to Noarlunga before they can be transported to the city.

Original story THE trams will not run tomorrow morning after construction delays at the South Rd tram overpass. Substitute bus services that have been operating over the weekend will continue this morning and Adelaide Metro staff will be at all tram stops to direct passengers to the buses.
