Tram driver threatened with scissors
A tram driver was threatened with a pair of scissors when he told a woman she could not drink alcohol on board.
The incident happened about 3pm yesterday on a city bound tram near Blackforest.
The driver approached a woman, 25, and told her not to consume alcohol on the tram.
A man, 20, who was with the woman then threatened the tram driver in what police described as “a very aggressive manner”.
The man was arrested and charged with aggravated assault. The woman was charged with giving a false name and address and breach of bail.
The pair will appear in court at a later date.
